Monsieur Onze LP is the debut album and seventh project overall by Dallas musician Roman The Writer, independently released to digital streaming platforms on December 25, 2020. Roman describes this album as "a hip hop parable of the rapper façade", expressed through genres such as dance pop, boom bap, trap, house, R&B, rock, jazz, and ambient synth. This long play includes lyrics, vocals, and production from artists TripleBeast, Plaedo, Vincedapoet, Shaye Saint John, DennisPimp, Azealia Banks, and many more.

After a year of writing, recording, and producing, Monsieur Onze LP is a 22 track voyage through the more conceited and boastful facet of the "Roman The Writer" character: Monsieur Onze, a young rapper who is abundantly self-absorbed and refuses to acknowledge his imperfections. It explores his love for lyricism, obsession with polychromatic wealth, artistic marriage with the sea, romantic and platonic relationships, supernatural activity, bisexuality, self-destruction, and suicidal thoughts. Throughout the album, Monsieur Onze gradually unravels and exposes his scars after failing to impress the ones around him with his anticipated songs of narcissism. His close ones see his truth behind the pride and start fading away when he denies his toxic and inflated self-love. This leaves him insane and unsure of whom to blame, when the rap façade that masked his private insecurities are the true reason for his demise.
